Kade turned 2. It's crazy to thing that he was born so long ago! We did some of his favorite things on his birthday. We went bowling, played catch, watched his favorite cartoon and had some yummy treats.
Aaron took a lunch break during the day so he could come see Kade since he leaves for work before we're awake, we took the time to open the boring/necessary presents. Kade had almost zero summer clothes that fit him.
We went bowling with some of our friends. It was pretty small and simple but he's 2 so who cares. It was still fun!
When we got home we let Kade burn the #2 sparkler we got for him. It took a while to start because it was so windy but once it started he thought it was pretty cool!

I am glad that you said that the party was simple because he is only 2 and doesn't care. Exactly. Thank you for that. I think it is such a waste when people go all out of these extravagant parties when their kid is too young to even appreciate it. Good work.
