November 2016 And Some Other Random Stuff

A really really really long time ago, okay almost two years ago, we had some family pictures done by a friend of mine from school. Kayleigh and I decided to do a little family photo swap. She did ours and then I did theirs. It was cold! But we still got some cute shots.

Mid March 2017. We spent family home evening with cheap pizza at the park. It was so nice to just get out of the house and enjoy spending time as a family out in nature! We talked about the creation and about our favorite things we have on earth (ie: trees, water, etc.)
Totally random, but during one of our many road trips, we pulled over to the side of the road and the stars were AMAZING! I was able to capture some shots of it. It was absolutely beautiful!

Lots of Random Daily Things

There really has been so much that has happened over the last year and a half.  The following pictures are a bunch of random bits and pieces from summer-fall of 2016. Looking back through these I thought of two things. 1. Lottie is much cuter now. 2. I miss their cute little faces. They still have cute little faces but they've each matured so much over the last year and a half.

Holy Moley

It's been over a year since I've posted. A year an a half. Sometimes I get so busy with editing other people's photos that I never get around to mine, or if I do get around to mine, I don't have time to do anything extra with them. I'm trying to be better since this is my family journal. I don't want my kids to look back and think, "Whelp, July 2016 is when mom stopped caring." These catch up posts are going to mostly be pictures, with words here and there. But really, we've had a pretty incredible year and a half.
2016 was a big year for school! Kade started third grade, but this year was at a new school. He was so nervous and pretty sad, but he quickly adjusted and loved his teacher!  Tadd started Kindergarten, which he thought he was excited about until he got there. Last but not least, Max started his first year of Preschool. He was so so so excited and not nervous, or sad to leave me, at all! His teacher was Ms. Julie which was fun because Aaron grew up with her in CA.
Even though one of his best friends was there in his class, sitting across from him, he was so nervous and upset, he didn't want me to leave. It broke my heart but as soon as I left, he said he stopped crying and had an awesome day.
