It's a boy!!!!

So it's official. We are having a boy. We found out this morning. When we had our ultrasound last week, we had the tech put the pictures that showed the gender in a box, and then we wrapped it and opened it this morning. It was just the two of us, so we had to make it really exciting! We got the idea from my friend Marisa, and decided that since it would only be five extra days to wait that we could do it. So yes

Here are some comics that I saw on my friend Caitlyn's blog. They are hilarious! Enjoy!

So I forgot (even though I add it every time) to put in the link for the viewing of more pictures.

Merry Christmas

A few projects this season prevented from much else being done! So here is our Christmas e-card! We hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season!

Love Aaron and Nickell

Temple Square

Last Saturday we took Serena to see the lights at the Salt Lake Temple. She had only been to Temple Square once before, and it wasn't during Christmas. We made hot chocolate and braved the cold. It was so pretty, and fun to experience with someone experiencing it for the first time!

So tonight we were just sitting in our home, and suddenly heard some loud noise coming from outside. We're not sure what it was, but soon after there was a lot of fog....or smoke, not sure, outside. We got a pretty cool picture of it though! It was worth standing out in the cold!

Snowy Day!

So we had quite the weekend! It was fun and scary both at the same time! Friday night we went to the Pizza Factory for dinner, and then went and got our Christmas tree! Finally! We then went home and decorated it. It was splended fun! It didn't get scary 'til the next day! Serena spent the night again, and when we woke up Saturday morning it had been snowing and was so pretty outside! However by the time we got out for the day it had stopped and kind of turned in to rain. We were a little bummed, but then it was ok because I hate driving in snow! So we took Serena home and then went Christmas shopping. When we went into the mall it was still raining and there wasn't much snow left on the ground. However when we left the mall there was SO much snow on the ground, and it was still snowing. Everything was completely white. On our way home we were sliding all over the place and almost got into a few accidents. One specifically so close we both temporarily stopped breathing! It took us about 30 minutes longer than normal to get home because we had to drive so slowly. We finally got home safely, and not a second too soon! I was very happy to not be driving in the snow anymore! Once again more pictures are available for viewing at our picasa site.

So in all the loudness and chaos going on at the Jensen house when Jordan was opening his call, I couldn't hear which mission he was going to in Japan. We barely heard Japan, and had to have my sister Kylee repeat it for us because of the madness! Well I texted him the next morning, and he is going to the Kobe, Japan mission! I asked him how excited he was, and he said "more than you could ever know!" Which is true because I have never been in his situation. So there you have it.

Serena turns 19!

Aaron's youngest sister Serena turned 19 on the 3rd of December. She is going to BYU right now so we had her and some of her friends over, and they made gingerbread houses, and ate food. It was nice to be able to do that for her since she is so far from home. We love her!

December 1st

On December 1st, we had our first big snow storm of the season! It was so pretty, but kind of scary. We were driving home from a wedding we were doing, and we saw a lot of accidents on the freeway because it was so slippery. But we were safe. We stopped by the Jordan River Temple to take some pictures! For more winter pictures you can go to our picasa site.http://picasaweb.google.com/anblairpics But here is my favorite picture from the day!

Thanksgiving Day!

This Thanksgiving was a little different for us! Not in a bad way. We had Aaron's sister Serena with us, and then we went to my Aunt Jeny's house. There was a large group of people. But it was fun! A lot more fun than it would have been with just the three of us. It still would have been fun with just the three of us, just having a lot of people makes it feel more like Thanksgiving! After a yummy dinner and some pie we went back home. Serena spent the night, and the later it got the crazier we got. Then Serena got a little camera happy! To see more pictures from our Thanksgiving, you can go to our picasa site.

Might as Well

Well everyone was doing it. So I thought I would join in the fun. Aaron and I sometimes struggle keeping in contact with everyone because our schedules are so hectic. Sometimes it's even hard to keep in contact with eachother. So I figure besides the fact that everyone else is creating their own blogs. I may as well create one for our little family!
