Ever?

Question. Have you ever been shocked that, while singing a song from "The Little Mermaid", your husband joins in and knows more of the words than you do? He claims that it is because of his sister Heather. "The Little Mermaid" is her favorite Disney movie. I think he secretly loves it.

You have to understand that LITERALLY The Little Mermaid was playing on the tv every single day for about a one year period at our house. Either that or we were listening to the soundtrack on the family stereo. And then there was always the THREE hour trip to Big Bear every couple of months that was pretty much a three hour sing along to every Disney movie.

I'm was SHOCKED when my husband quoted from the movie "Selena" and "Steel Magnolias".

It's true Nickell, "The Little Mermaid" was my favorite disney cartoon. I can recite the movie line by line and now that Emrie is watching disney movies she is starting to know the words to the songs too.

Aaron shouldn't feel embarrassed. Joel sings the princess songs with me too. We got Emrie a princess sing-along DVD for Christmas so now our whole family has all the princess songs memorized.
