I just remembered!
So I just remembered something that probably a lot of people don't know about me....my Junior year of High School, I seriously considered joining the Marine's. Weird I know, but I thought hey, they pay for school, and I'll get into shape! Luckily I started dating Aaron.....

Another tag!
Five Things About Me
1. What was I doing 10 years ago: Hm....I was 11! It's awesome I know! I was anxiously getting ready to be in Young Womens!
2. 5 things on my to-do list today: 1-Design a wedding album 2-Burn a set of wedding pictures 3-make dinner 4-Photog business paperwork 5-Go to bed early!
3. What snacks do I enjoy: white cheddar popcorn, yogurt,???.
4. What would I do if I were suddenly a billionaire: Buy a house, pay off our car, have both of us quit our jobs, buy a whole bunch of photography equipment, (including a studio location), invest, and then donate the rest to the church!
5. One thing people don't know about me: There isn't a lot that people don't already know about me. But one thing, I worry about everything! My mind is constantly in worst-case-scenario mode! I don't know why, that's just how I am.

Memory Monday
As per request today's memory will be about how Aaron and I met. In this picture we had been dating for a while already, but it is from a long time ago, so yeah. In October of 2002, Ashley and I were talking to her friend Brandon, and the three of us decided that it would be fun to go play tennis, and Ashley mentioned Aaron, and suggested that Brandon should bring him too. Brandon and Aaron are really good friends. It was a plan! That following Saturday the four of us played tennis. I still remember everything he was wearing. He was wearing a tan beanie, his gray sweatshirt, and his North Carolina basketball shorts, oh and tennis shoes. However, once I saw him, I was a little embarrassed. I thought he was very good looking, and I had just rolled out of bed, thrown up my hair, and put on sweats and a t-shirt. We were playing tennis, nothing fancy. I noticed he was really funny, and athletic. Both of which I liked. There was one big problem though. He wouldn't talk to me. He was 22, and I was 16. As he puts it "I thought she was cute, but WAY too young!" He would purposely ignore me any time we were around each other after that. So we met, but that was about it. Except for me, I was sure I was in love!
Six months later we started dating on a fluke. Ashley and Brandon were dating, and her parents only wanted her going on double dates, and since Aaron was friends with Brandon, and I was friends with Ashley, Aaron and I dated....I guess. Once he started talking to me it was great! I was never able to talk to guys like I was able to talk to him. We had been hanging out a lot, thanks to Ashley and Brandon going on a lot of dates. I could tell he started liking me, and became more ok with my age, because he started flirting a ton, and he became very affectionate. He would always put his arm around me, or hug me, or even just stand close to me. It was kind of funny! But I didn't mind, because remember? I was in love. Brandon kept telling me that I should just kiss him, or else nothing will ever happen. This is because as Brandon said, Aaron never kisses a girl first. Usually hearing that would just make me not want to, how in love with himself is he? Heavenly Father obviously knew something I didn't because one night when Aaron walked me to my car, we were standing there talking for a while, and I asked him a question, before he could answer, I kissed him. Much to the surprise of both of us! And then it was official!

Too Often
Yesterday at Northern Illinois University, there was yet again, a shooting. I have heard mixed reports, but something like 5-7 people have been killed. This is happening far too often. I can't help but wonder what in the world happened to these people that makes them think it's ok to do this sort of thing! My heart breaks for anyone involved in this shooting or any shooting. This is how often these horrible tragedies are happening! (Warning: If you get easily upset, don't read on.)

I am sure there have been more that weren't on the list, even more before 1996. Then there are those like, the department store in Omaha Nebraska, and then Trolley Square, here in Utah, the so called "bubble"! It can happen anywhere! And with just about all of these instances, they are KIDS, taking other kids lives!
It just makes me think of the quote :
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle.” (-thanks Jessica! It's a good one, and very fitting in this case!)
Not that it is everyone else's fault that these people act out irrationally, but kindess towards others is never a bad thing. Besides, who know how things would have ended up, had these people had friends, and people that loved them!

Dedicated to Aaron!
Because it is Valentines Day, it seems like I am required to be really sappy and mushy about the one I love. Luckily it isn't to hard for me to do!
This is my husband. He's amazing. He is always so willing to serve others, and he has such a big heart! He works so hard to provide a good life for us, and he does a good job at it! Right now he is going out of his way to bring Cafe Rio to me at work, because that was all that sounded good to me for lunch....(pregnancy woes). (And for all of you that don't know the goodness of Cafe Rio....I'm truly sorry!) I love him, and I'm so lucky!

Memory Monday
So my friend Allison started something on her blog called memory Monday! I liked the idea, so here I am copying it! The picture is horrible quality. But it's the best I could do. Back in the day, I had been having a horrible day at work. I worked at Albertsons, it's about as close to slave labor as you can legally get! Anyway, I had been having a horrible day, I had come in contact with lots of rude people. I don't know why, it was like the day for the beasts to go shopping or something. Anyway, I went out to collect the carts in the parking lot, and noticed that my car had been toilet papered! Who does that? It was ridiculous. I was furious! Other nights, I might have been humored, but not that night! So I took my break and started calling around to people I knew to find out who did it, so I could make them come clean it up! One of the people I called was my friend Ashley. She was hanging out with her boyfriend (now husband) Brandon, and his friend (now my husband) Aaron. I had met Aaron a few times, and had a giant crush on him. Well they didn't do it, but felt bad for me, so they went and bought a slurpee, and brought it to me. It definitely made me in a better mood to see Aaron. Looking back on this picture it is a little crazy to think, we had no idea what was ahead of us!

Our First "Baby"
This is our dog Ellie. Well she was ours. We got her back in September, and shortly after found out we couldn't have her where we lived. We also found out we were pregnant. She was so much fun to play with, and she was so cute. The family that we sold her to often sends us updates on her. She went to a wonderful family that has three boys, and another dog! It was hard to give her up, but we know her life is better with them! The above picture is one that we took when we had her. The two below are pictures that her new family sent us!
Apparently she has become quite the skateboarder, and hogs the skateboard from the boys!

So Caitlyn already posted this picture on her blog, but I just had to do it too! I don't really remember a lot about when President Hinkley was called to be our prophet. So he is really the only prophet I have known. He was so amazing! But it is so exciting to be getting a new Prophet, and a new counselor! I will miss President Hinkley's spirit, and great messages, but I know that President Monson is the man to fill his shoes, and be his successor! I am also so excited about President Uchtdorf! It is incredible how far the church has come since it was first established. We now have a member of the first presidency that is from another country! It's incredible. And of course, I love President Eyring, his talks always make me so happy. He is such a happy, family oriented, man. I truly love and respect all these men!

An Addendum
So, I have had a couple comments on my previous post. To answer some ideas, the first antibiotic I was put on I have been on before, and it never works, so I didn't expect it to this time either. The latter two I have never even heard of. So I don't think I have ever taken them, unless I was really little, and didn't pay attention to that stuff yet. I don't know. It's frustrating.
