Thanksgiving in Fort Worth

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Fort Worth at Aaron's parent's house. The boys, of course, always love going and spending time with Grandma and Grandpa and their cousins! I was in charge of rolls and pies. I only made three pies this year. The apple was ok but the pumpkin, and French silk were especially delicious.

Tadd loved helping cut out the rolls
I attempted to take a picture of my boys. And it went as it usually does.
We all sat down to enjoy our delicious meal!
Then it was time for dessert! There was also game playing, movie watching and just hanging out. Somehow there aren't photos of any of that though.

The next evening we went to the parade of lights in downtown Fort Worth. It was really crowded so we couldn't see very well but the kids enjoyed it.  There was a lot of trading kids between the adults shoulders.
Like I said, the kids loved it. Worth it.

That weekend we also went to a German street fair thing. We walked around for a bit. The boys were all especially enamored with the puppet booth. We could have spent forever there.
Then I spent $15 of the best money I've ever spent and put the boys on a donkey ride. They all three absolutely loved it. Especially Tadd. He's my little animal lover. He's still talking about it, a month later.
Afterward, Grandma wanted to treat the boys to ice cream. They had so much fun!

The weekend was filled with family, good food and relaxation. And a lot of this...   :)
