Easter Morning

Easter is my favorite. I absolutely love it. All of it. We had fun this year with just our little family.
What a bunch of nerds I have. Cute nerds.

We got to enjoy general conference, family time, way too much chocolate and remembering our Savior and his immense sacrifice for us. It is something I am grateful for, every single day. Because of him, I get to be with my family forever. FOREVER. That's pretty spectacular.

Pre-Easter Shenanigans

Even when kids are sick, we keep traditions alive. Tadd was feeling pretty crummy and we were going to make him rest, until our guests opted out (for good reason). We decided to let him join in the fun. Aaron and I hid the hard boiled eggs throughout the yard.
After the finding, we did the coloring.
I love seeing my boys get just as excited for our traditions as I do. It makes the holidays so much more fun! They love to get creative with their eggs and try new things!

Glowing

Last year, we did our own personal glow-in-the-dark egg hunt. It was fun but this year we wanted to include more people. Next year, I think I'll be more prepared and more organize with it but it still turned out to be really fun. The kids loved it! The awesome Taylor family hosted and their backyard was perfect for it!

It wasn't totally dark when we started so I still took pictures. It was very low on light though so they're pretty grainy. Anyway, enjoy.
Max was more concerned with pushing around this dump truck, than he was with finding eggs.

A Few Weeks Have Gone By

Recently we have decided that we don't know where we live. We know we live in Texas, obviously. We know our address. Obviously. But we don't know Texas. So we decided to be more adventurous and do more exploring.  A few weeks ago, our outing of choice was McKinney Falls State Park. It was an excellent choice if I do say so myself. We all absolutely loved it and I personally can not wait to go back!
Then a few weeks after that... I had a birthday.
For my birthday, my parents (so graciously) gave Aaron and myself tickets to see Pentatonix in Austin! I was a little nervous, having never been to a concert in my 29 years. But it was great. They are phenomenal!
And that's a wrap.
