Day 27

I left the boys and headed home. It's ok, they'll be returned to us on Friday. 

Day 26

We just hung out. And Tadd was adorable. 

Day 25: The Hood

We went to LA, to buy fabric and wedding things for Tara. Kade thought it necessary to push the stroller. It was good because it kept him occupied. Until we had been there so long, that he thought it necessary to be the one riding in the stroller.

Day 24

Chick-Fil-A was putting a fundraiser on. They had bouncer houses. Kade jumped. 

Day 23: Exhaustion

We had a busy day, filled with....nothing. Somehow, we all still feel like this....

...this time next week, you'll BE. HOME!!!!!

Day 22: We Have Arrived

We made it to my parents house. My mom had a fun new straw for Kade to try. He thought it was awesome.

Day 21: He's Getting Old.

It was that time. Already. We took his white shirt picture. I started from the beginning so you can see the change. Enjoy.

Remember when I told you that Tadd folds his arms now? Well here's proof. I didn't even tell him to either. He just did it. They thought this was a fun place to hide and eat cookies they weren't supposed to have. 

9 days left. NINE DAYS!!!! Wahoo!!!!!

Days:17, 18 and 19: Kade's Birthday Celebration

This post is worth three days. I promise. 

Kade's birthday was yesterday. He turned 4. Sometimes, I can't believe he's already 4. Other times, I don't know how he's only 4. He's such a good kid (normally ;)  and I'm so lucky to be his mom. He always knows how to make me smile. He requested a superhero birthday and that's what he got. 

 Kade and I painted a backdrop of a city-scape for their own superhero photo shoot. 

 My friend Michelle was awesome with trying to get the kids to pose like superheros. She was so helpful! I couldn't have done the party without her! I planned, she executed.Her help was all last minute too. She texted me at midnight the night before the party, offering to help. What a gem.  

 After food and cake and presents, they had a water gun fight. Kade still claims this as his favorite part. 

After his birthday party. We took Kade to a babysitter's house and went on a date. We went to see Pirates! Band of Misfits. We took photo-booth pictures and played arcade games. He kept hugging me all night. 

 I didn't get any sleep the night before this party. But when Kade said "Mom, this is a really really fun birthday party!" It was worth every second.

Day 16: My Apprentice

Meet my apprentice.

I was shooting senior pictures today for one of my young women. Kade decided to help. These were some of the shots he got.

Day 15

I took zero pictures today. Mostly because I am ill. I'm sorry. However, I am posting this one. I love it. Look at how content Kade is. He's just happy to be with Dad. The boys and I miss you so much. We're officially over half way. The 23rd can't get here soon enough. 

Day 14

One awesome thing, about having awesome friends....they have awesome husbands. One in particular, happens to be part of the road work going on in our front yard. He was awesome enough to let Kade ride along today. He even let Kade do some controls for a second. Safely. Of course. 

We're half way. :)
