Table Setter


Kade has finally started becoming more of a helper than hinder-er(?) Anyway, he set the table the other night, for the first time. I'd tell him, here's mommy's plate, put it on the table please. He did a surprisingly good job. The plate on the far side of the table is where Aaron's seat was. Good stuff. And yes, we use paper plates for plain old dinners. We don't have a dishwasher. Neither of us like doing dishes. Therefore....

I think that is funny. We grew up without electric dish washers even being available. And, it was one of the designated chores to either wash or dry after every dinner. Some of the best fights I ever had with my sister occurred during those times.

Goodness! Setting the table while doing business on his phone--very impressive. I like how he wanted it to be "Mommy and Kade" dinner time and kicked Daddy to the corner. That is good stuff :)

I have a dishwasher and I still use paper plates...So, the toy store is in Riverwoods and I can't remember the name, but it's a weird name and I think it's next to The Buckle.
