Hee Haw Farms 2012

Disclaimer: If you do not like looking at pictures of my family....leave now.

We took our annual trip to Hee Haw Farms this year. We debated whether or not we should this year. It was a little difficult to find a time to go with our schedules the way they have been and with all that we have going on. However, we found time, and we're so glad! Both boys had so much fun!
We started with the pony ride. Every time we've gone in the past, the pony ride has been closed. Kade rode it a couple times. He wanted to keep going.
Tadd only like the pony from afar.
Shooting corn on the cob. This scared both boys at first because it was so loud, it kind of took them off guard for a minute. Then once Kade saw Aaron do it, he again, was hooked!
At the time of day we got there, there weren't a ton a people there yet. The boys rode the train about 5 times in a row.
I think this slide was the hit of the evening for Kade. By the end of it, he was going down on his belly and backwards. Over, and over....and over. We got more video of this than photos but it was pretty cute to see him giggling and smiling every. time.

Then we took the hay ride out to the sunflower fields where they have pumpkins for the pickin'. We had just had some cold weather hit fast, and a lot of the big pumpkins had gone bad already but it was still fun to go out there!
Seriously? They're like twins. It's crazy.

The boys searched and searched.
The pumpkin we came home with.
Waiting for the hayride to come back and pick us up. Kade was pouting. Who knows why.
Tadd didn't know why either.
We had such a fun family date. After this we went and got hot chocolate, caramel apples and kettle corn, then we home to watch Hocus Pocus. Best. family date. ever.

Disneyland!

We went to Disneyland, yet again, in October. My parents have passes and wanted a turn taking the boys to the happiest place on earth. We also spent a lot more time at California Adventure. The whole day was very fun!
The boys on the tram ride in, they were both so excited! Once Kade got a map, we barely saw his face. He was studying that thing like we were going to test him on it!
Tadd has a very special place in his heart for his Grandpa Jensen.
The Jensen family members that were there.
Aaron and Brock, making sure to live up to their "annoying brother" duties. Brandon was not amused.
So glad they could join us!
Uncle Brock and Kade are best buds. Though I'm pretty sure they have more of a "brothers" relationship than uncle-nephew.
Brock worked on his photo skills.
Going on a kiddie ride whilst the big kids went on Tower of Terror.
We got to have Brandon and Jeanessa there with us which was so fun! Also turned out to be super helpful! Jeanessa knew CA Adventure better than any of us, she was basically our tour guide.
Kade only wanted to hang out with Nana all day.
For a lot of the day, Aaron and I felt like we were on a date. Our kids were constantly being held and paid attention to by everyone else so we spent as much time just paying attention to each other as possible. We don't get to go on very many dates, so it was nice.
 He's always ready for battle.
Tadd with his girlfriend, Aunt Sessa.
Uncle Brandon and Kade, deep in conversation as always. My dad, taking the opportunity to feel tall.
This is the only picture of Becca. She hates the camera more than I do.
Aaron likes to embarrass me in public. Oye.
Our whole group. We had so much fun!
The night was ended with The Wonderful World of Color show at California Adventure. It was incredible! Both boys were mesmerized.
We were all wiped out by the end of the night. The boys didn't even make it out of the park before they were both asleep. Worth it.
