Why?

So I have decided that our car is pretty much cursed. Last night for the second time, it was broken into. Luckily not much was taken. Only our planners, one of which had a checkbook in there, and the other had a prescription that I had not yet filled. I was extremely upset to say the least! Aaron didn't know what to say to me for hours! Pregnancy fills you up with all sorts of emotions that don't normally arise so easily!

What really ticks me off, is I don't understand that urge for people! Stealing? Why? A planner. So what if it had my ENTIRE wedding schedule for this ENTIRE year! It's a freaking planner! Who besides the owner, would care about a planner? It's ridiculous really! Aaron says he is the one that is cursed. Every single car he has ever owned in his lifetime, has been broken into! Every one! This one twice, his last one twice....and then 3 other cars! So stupid! Hopefully some day I will invent some machine that, unless authorized with a special code? or something, attacks whoever attempts to enter the car! That would be awesome....maybe then we won't be robbed!

Memory Monday!

So this is the last one about Aaron and I. I know, you are going to miss the gushing, but get over it! So to complete the story, or semi-complete I guess. This memory is about our wedding!

It was such a beautiful day, and although if I could go back, I would change a LOT, it was still amazing! We got married July 31st 2004 in the LA Temple. The weather was so perfect, which was something we had been worried about. There were a lot of fires that year, and air quality wasn't great! It wasn't too hot either. We got married at noon, we were the last wedding of the day. I was lucky enough to have three of my best friends show up! Erin, Shelly, and Kate! So the memory is of walking out of the temple! I have to say that is probably the most awkward situation anyone can be put in. You're just standing there waiting for people to stop cheering, and then they do, and you still stand there because you don't know what to do next! So awkward. I remember really not liking that moment. I really hate being the center of attention, having everyone looking at me. The rest of the day was great though! It was so fun! A lot went wrong.....including the infamous cake collapsing! And thank goodness my mom was taking so many pictures, because...well I'm not going to get started on that! But it was a great day, and now almost 4 years later we are still so happy, and so in love!

Here are more of our wedding pictures!

Make Up for last week's Memory Monday!

So I was sick last week, hence no memory. So here it is. I am going to be continuing the story of Aaron and I for this post and the next.

So we dated for about 6 months, and we were talking marriage. I was having a problem though. I was only 17, and still in High School. I didn't want to regret not living my life, and just getting married as soon as possible! So I graduated a semester early, and moved up to Utah to have my "on my own" experience! It was great, and I am so glad I did it! But I missed Aaron like crazy, and after living so far away from him for about 4 months, I realized that I was really ready to be married, especially to Aaron! So one visit he made up to Utah, we decided on the day to get married. I can't say that all family members were thrilled. I will just say there were a few that were skeptical...That's all. So we started planning the wedding while I was still living in Utah, but there had not been an official proposal, so it felt a little weird to tell people, even though I was so excited that I told everyone anyway.

When My family came to pick me up in May, and help me move back to California, the expected surprise came! If that makes sense! I knew he would be proposing, but I didn't know when! He concocted a whole plan. We were in Orem doing tux fittings for my brothers and Aaron, and my cousin Jamie called. She asked if I could pick her up at the Provo Temple, because here mom was doing a session at the temple, and she was dropping off her car. So she needed a ride home. I told her we could take her home. They're lucky I'm so nice other wise this would not have worked! :) When we go to pick her up, Aaron was acting unusually strange. She got in our car, and we pulled up next to the fountain right in front of the temple. (Side note: we were borrowing my parents car to run these errands, and they had called a few times wondering where we are, so I was stressing a little bit on time!) Aaron stops the car in front of the fountain, and says lets take a picture. I hesitate, but say "ok, but we have to hurry!" We go stand by the fountain, Jordan snaps a picture of us, and I am getting really frustrated because we are so short on time, and Aaron is wasting it away with this stupid picture! He says to me, "Hey, this is where we were when I first told you I loved you!" I reply with "Yeah, I love you too, lets go!" And I start to walk away! In One motion, he pulled me back and got on one knee! I was shocked, but it was so cute! I absolutely loved it, and we later found out that my parents were just anxious for us to get back so they could hear all about the proposal that hadn't happened when they called. (I feel like I am rambling and none of this makes sense!) I was so surprised!

P.S.

I haven't forgotten about "Memory Monday" so fear not! Last week I was under the weather, and so there was no post. However, tonight I will be making up for last week with two memories for this Monday! Also, I am displeased to let you know that I made another appointment for my never ending ear infection. It just doesn't want to leave, and now I have to go to an ear nose and throat doctor. Joy....

He's Pretty Much Incredible!

So, I am obsessed with David Archuleta....
This kid is from Murray Utah, and he is incredible. I have listened to his performance of "Imagine" about a billion times! When he first auditioned I was prepared for the worst, because he talked about how he had vocal paralysis.... Well he surprised me to say the least! He is amazing!

Check him out...

Why?

So I got my hair cut last Saturday. Why is it that I have such a hard time styling it the same way it was styled after my cut. Right now it looks more like a helmut than when she styled it? It devastates me....although, by the end of the day on Saturday, I had another devastating revelation.....I kind of have the same hair cut as Danny Noriega on American Idol....

That is not the cut or the cutter's fault at all. But if anyone is wondering, Caitlyn Cox is amazing at cutting hair, and I would recommend anyone go to her. She just needs to teach me how to do it now!! I'll post a picture later, once I am better at styling it.....
