Just Some Stuff

Aaron and I had a wedding in San Diego over Valentines Day weekend. The wedding was on a Friday so we got to spend an extra day in the area, just playing. It was a nice little work weekend getaway! Saturday night, my parents met up with us in Dana Point, which is one of my favorite places in the world. (The world that I've traveled, which honestly is not very big, comparatively.)
We went to a little beach and just hung out. The boys (Brock, Aaron and my dad) played bocce ball.
Then we went to dinner at El Torito and walked around the shops there. It was very fun and reminded us of Hawaii, the way the shops were set up. Even the stuff sold in the shops. We had lots of fun. So much fun, I didn't take very many pictures.
The moon also looked really cool through the fog.

A couple of days ago we decided to get out of the house and spend the day at the park. It was a much needed day out and we didn't even have to spend any money! The boys absolutely love playing at the park. This was a fun and different one too. The jungle gym has all sorts of cool stuff.
We have enjoyed our time here in Texas. We have made some good friends. We are finally starting to feel at home here.

On A Happier Note

Our original plan was to go spend the weekend after Christmas, with Aaron's parents. Due to the funerals, we weren't able to. At the end of January, we finally got to make the trip! I however, failed to document the weekend very well. You'll just have to get over it.

We left Friday, January 24th, when Aaron got off of work. We got in sort of late but when we got there we had fun chatting with Cameron and Serena as well as Aaron's parents.

Saturday morning we "celebrated Christmas". Exactly one month later. The boys (and Aaron and I) were spoiled with gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. And we finally got to give them the gifts we had for them!

Saturday morning, we went to watch Rylan play in his basketball game! We got to hang out with the Connelly's all day! The boys love love love playing with their cousins!
Nick, Ericka, their kids and Gennell (Ericka's mom) came for dinner on Saturday night. We had so much fun catching up with them and their cute kids! Kade got along SO well with Gavin. They were joined at the hip the whole night.
Tadd liked to watch Grandpa work. I don't think Grandpa minded it either.
Sunday morning, we celebrated Max's birthday. Aaron's mom had purchased a few presents for him. He got some much needed new clothes and some fun new toys!

And then, just because...
I love how he sleeps.
