Big Helper

On Saturday, Aaron was doing some work around the house. We're trying to finish up about 15 projects. Well, Kade wanted to help. This isn't a first either. Last time he wanted to help, he saw Aaron working with tools, went down to his play room and got his plastic play tools set. Yesterday was no different. I wasn't home but Aaron's sister Serena was over at our house so she got some cute pictures of them working together.

He even wanted to lay down the same way as his dad.

Boys and their tools.

Watching carefully.

Such a good little helper.

More Random Thoughts

What ever happened to the "Zest fully clean" commercials? The soap still exists, yet the commercials do not.

I'm still wondering why the poster of the video I just posted removed it from youtube. It was so awesome.

I like that Kade says "wa-wa" for water.

It makes me sad when he's sick with a fever but happy at the same time because he just wants to cuddle and I love that.

I have a new favorite commercial. This is it. Laugh.

Why is the weather here so crazy right now? Probably every other state in the country is getting more snow than we are.

If it's going to be cold, I'd rather have snow on the ground than none.

In a month I'm going to be turning the same age Aaron was when we got married.

My son is a sports freak. He is currently handing me his baseball glove and yelling baseball at me. He has the bat and the ball.

I love that he is an athlete, I don't love that I, in turn, have to play baseball all day.

I wish all adults would act as adults.

There are a lot of projects needing to be finished around this house and I have absolutely no desire right now to do them.

I wish we had a dishwasher. I didn't like doing dishes even when we had one. Now, it's worse. Far worse.

Baseball time.

Sometimes It Hurts to Be A Mom

I really don't even know where to start. My heart is aching, and filled with sadness today. I have recently become aware of this family and this family.

I don't know either of these families personally, and their trials are not mine. This I am grateful for!

However, my heart still aches. I can't help but think if I were in their situations. How would I react, how would I feel. I would like to think that I would have the same strength and faith as these two hurting mothers. Their faith and testimonies astound me! Please read their stories, keep them in your thoughts and prayers along with all those struggling and grieving. And as the mother of one of these sweet boys always says, "God is good." He is good.
