Happy 4th Anniversary to US!!!

Today Aaron and I are celebrating our 4Th anniversary! I am happier now than I have ever been. I couldn't have asked for a better husband. He is so selfless and caring. He tells me all the time that all he wants is for me to be happy. He gave me a beautiful little boy that I love with all my heart. I look forward to many many more years. I love you Aaron and I am very happy!
Here's our story:

May 30Th, 2003 We started dating. It took some convincing on Aaron's end. He wasn't fond of my age. But I eventually wore him down!

May 2004: Aaron proposed "unexpectedly". The date had been set, I had my dress. It was just time for the official proposal. I had been living in Utah for four months and my family including Aaron came to pick me up. He proposed to me at the same place he told me he loved me the first time. The Provo Temple. We had been dating for a year.

July 31st, 2004: WE GOT MARRIED!! It was a beautiful day. The weather was perfect! I still remember it as if it were yesterday!

Our first anniversary 2005: We didn't have a real "top of the wedding cake" to eat, so Shelly made one for us, and brought it over for us to eat on our anniversary! We love Shelly, and we can't wait for her to get home from her mission!!! That year we also went away to a bed and breakfast in Manti called The Yardley Inn and Spa. It is an amazing little place and we got massages, we the the Manti temple, ate yummy food and watched movies.

Our Second Anniversary 2006: This year we went up to Salt Lake, not too far. We stayed at the Little America, went and saw the Joseph Smith movie and we ate dinner The Roof restaurant. Amazing food, amazing view!!!

2007 : Our Third Anniversary was by far my favorite up until now! Aaron surprised me by getting tickets to see Wicked at Pantages Theater in LA. We went to eat at Castaway, yummy caviar! The show was amazing of course!

We take sweet pictures!!! ;)

September 2007, we found out we were pregnant! This had been something we had been waiting for. Finally!!! Our ultrasound was 5 days before Christmas, so we had the tech write down the sex on a piece of paper, put it in a box, tape up the box, and hand it to us. As soon as we got home we wrapped it up. We opened it on Christmas morning and found out we were having a BOY!

Austin Kade Blair was born on May 12, 2008. He was welcomed with open arms! We love him so much, and he was the perfect addition to our little family!

To be continued in later years!!!!

We thought he looked like Aaron....

Turns out he looks like my dad!

Bumbo

Kade got a new Bumbo chair. He loves it. I took a few pictures of him sitting in it for the first time. He is starting to look so much older. He looks older in pictures than he does in real life too!

What???

Aaron witnessed the most shocking thing yesterday. We were at Memory Grove in Salt Lake City because I was taking bridals. There was a family that was having a picnic. I am not even joking about this either. The mother of this little family gave her little girl (age 3-4) a swig of her BEER! Parent your children as you wish, but serving alcohol to a minor is illegal! I am outraged, and Aaron didn't tell me this until we left. This poor little girl.

The Circle of Life

So I have unfortunately discovered, and not recently, that friends don't last forever. At least most friends. I don't understand it, because I have never been this way, but for some reason, when you get married, your single friends don't want to hang out with you anymore. That I discovered a long time ago. But it happens when you have kids too. All of your married friends that don't have kids, don't want to hang out with you anymore. It's really sad. Aaron and I have always been ones to hang out with any of our friends no matter their family status. And it happens before you even have the baby too. At the end of your pregnancy, you will call your friends and they won't return your calls or they are always to busy to hang out, plus they stop calling you all together! Unless they need something. For some reason our friends think we have changed. We haven't. We are still the same weirdos. Sad thing is we haven't even had a chance to prove it! Anyway this is an informative post more than anything. Those of you who are engaged or pregnant, just be prepared. Unless you have friends that don't care about your status. If you do you are lucky. Aaron and I miss our friends, but we are grateful for the ones we do have! They have kids too. And we like them a lot! And we are glad they are our friends!

New Tag

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

Benefit Fair for Emma Cheney

Saturday there was a benefit fair for Emma Cheney. Emma is my cousin Lisa's little girl. Lisa and her husband Jeff have three little girls and Emma is right in the middle. She has Down Syndrome and juvenile Diabetes. This fundraiser was put on by my aunt Joyce, along with the help of countless others! It was such a good day, we had an awesome turnout. Here are a few pictures from the day!

People watching the entertainment

This is a view from the stage where there was live entertainment going on all day!

Emma and Lisa with the Diabetes representatives
I can't remember what this group was called but they are so cute! They performed dances as part of the entertainment for the day.
We took some pictures of Emma while we were there.

Baby Wyatt

I've started doing baby portraits and I couldn't be more excited. One of my best friends just had a baby last week and had me come do pictures for her! I have been wanting to expand my photography business for a while, and now I am finally doing it! I'm looking for more babies to expand my portfolio. There are so many more, but I just chose a couple and edited them really quick so I could post about this because I am just so excited! By the way, I have like a billion things to post about. A lot has gone on in the past couple weeks. Anyway, keep checking back there will be plenty to see!
